Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hollow Conn., mahogany 8-day weight-driven time & strike column & cornice shelf clock, C.1863.
CONDITION:
Beautifully refinished case with no damage. All three glasses old and near perfect with just a few tiny paint losses. Very good inside paper label with slight staining. Original dished painted metal dial slightly faded with some white infill; wooden tabs added to uprights to improve dial mounting. Lyre plate brass movement is clean, ticking and striking, signed ST, Plymouth Hollow. Ht. 32".
